Christopher Cottrell is an Offensive Security leader at Nvidia. Christopher uses an adversarial mindset for strategic defensive purposes, utilizing the full spectrum of offensive cyber operations to find gaps, fix misconfigurations, and verify the accuracy of defensive postures. Red Team, Pentesting, Threat Hunting, Research, Purple Team, and Threat Intelligence are all tools in his strategic offensive toolbox. Christopher enjoys uplifting others, doing what he can to bring new talent into the fields of cybersecurity through programs like the Guerrilla Red Team presented at DEFCON 28. Christopher is also involved in a number of veterans groups, like the Whole Human Cyber Initiative and Boots to Books. He is also interested in applying philosophical concepts to cyber operations, solving age old problems in new and unforeseen ways.
